SYNERGY STONES are specially shaped massage tools designed by LMT Scott Wynn, to blend or "Synergize" relaxing hot stone massage with therapeutic techniques such as Kneading, Sculpting and Soothing. Natural-Matte colors have a natural-stone feel and can be used on the skin with oils or other lubricants.
Ultra-Smooth colors have a glassy-smooth feel and can be used over clothes or on the skin with oils etc.
When using oils, Ultra-Smooth colors can feel too slippery for some and not for others. It depends on the oil, your hands and your style of massage as to whether you'll find them too slippery or not. Many say that even though they're quite slick they have no problem massaging with oil, etc. and love the glassy-smooth feel.
+ If you Only do massage on the skin you will have the best grip with Natural-Matte, but can use either type.
+ If you Only do clothed chair or table massage definitely go with the Ultra-Smooth Color choices.
+ If you do Both, try both types to compare so you will know for sure which best suits your style of massage.

In the massage room they can be heated in our Water-Free Heating System, in Hot Water or in a Hot Towel Cabbie. When low on time, or at home, they heat in 30-60 seconds in a Microwave and stay hot long enough to massage an area such as the back before needing to be reheated. Synergy Stones can also be used at air-temp which feels cool against the skin. Using cold water or freezer packs lowers their temp even more for a refreshing sensation!

As with natural stones, SYNERGY STONES need to be cleaned between use and before storing. Any gentle plant based or non-harsh cleanser will work to clean your stones between use. At the end of the day we suggest a thorough washing with either a spray cleaner or soap and water and letting them air dry overnight.
