The 1 Original Black Matte color has a very grippy surface and is for use with oils, etc. on the skin only.

All the Ultra-Smooth colors are glossy smooth and can be used against the skin with oils or over clothes.

+ If you Only do Clothed Chair or Table massage, definitely go with the Ultra-Smooth Color choices.

+ If you Only do massage against the skin, you can use either type but will have the best grip with the Original Black.

+ If you do both, either choose 1 of each or try the Ultra-Smooth because they work with both oil on skin and over clothes.

Ultra-Smooth Colors are glossy smooth over the whole stone and have red “grip-spots” for a little extra grip when using massage oils. They can feel too slippery for some people and not for others. It depends on the lubricant, your hands and your style of massage as to whether you will find them too slippery or not. We want you to find the best fit for your hands and style of massage.
